1. Soft waves

Of course this is our number one hairstyle for Valentine’s Day! Soft waves are so popular right now and there is no mistaking why, with their soft, gentle bounce creating a real romantic feel that’s perfect for any occasion. As long as you have the right tools, soft waves are so easy to achieve and really add a touch of femininity to any outfit.

Our tip: Curl your hair a little tighter than desired, as the curls will drop out during your date, achieving the ultimate look when it’s time for that kiss!

Nothing says romance like a soft braid. We love braided crowns, perfect for those girls who want to feel and look like a princess for their special date. If you’re headed for a picnic in the park, this is definitely our go-to hairstyle.

Our tip: The looser the braid, the better – try not to braid too tightly and undo the braid slightly once complete for a more natural, effortlessly looking braid.

3. Ballerina Bun

For the ladies wanting to show off their amazing cheekbones and make-up, this is the style for you. The ballerina bun is perfect for any setting, whether you are chilling at home with a home cooked meal with your girlfriends or your special someone has surprised you with a romantic meal at a posh restaurant. This style can be transformed and suits any outfit.

Our tip: Pin any shorter hairs underneath to avoid any bits sticking up during your date and a spray of hairspray to prevent any blow-aways.

4. Half Up Half Down Half-Up-Half-Down-Anna-Kendrick

The most popular hairstyle for weddings, the half up half down style is so versatile and really adds a touch of romance to your overall look. Whether you want to incorporate a braid to add femininity or volume for a strong look, the half up half down style really is yours to style as you please. From the moment your beau picks you up to the final bite of dessert, this hairstyle will definitely leave your loved one seeing stars.

Our tip: Combine this style with soft waves for the ultimate Valentine’s Day look.
